Thanks for pointing those out! It wasn’t a test per se, though it’s further ammunition for my team to use against me posting articles before they proof them. 😉

You definitely should avoid companies (any kind of company, really) that have glaring errors in their copy. I did mean in copy especially; for example, avoid a company that says “we provide excellent copy writing.” If they don’t know that copywriting is one word, how good can they be at it?

You’ll tend to find more errors in content (articles, blog posts, etc.). They’re still a problem and need to be fixed (and inexcusable for us!) but since so much more content is produced than copy, it’s natural that you’ll find more errors in content. But, oh, beware those typos in copy that indicate a company doesn’t know what it’s talking about! 🙂
