Hi Prabu,

I agree – a checklist is a great thing to refer to as you practice both evaluating copy and writing some. (We provide a checklist for students in our Comprehensive Copywriting Academy, but even a shorter checklist of the points mentioned in this article will help.)

Some people learn best by writing long hand and some learn best by writing on the computer; either way, the most important thing is to apply clear strategy to the words you write. That will help all writers, but copywriters especially, to improve their work.

That’s a good point you made in the article. Maybe one can even come up with a checklist for evaluating copy. Or use someone else’s. You can certainly improve the clarity in the copy this way.

But I think you develop style and your core by writing long hand or by practicing.
